An atheist is a believer as a priest

Ever since I realised the true nature of Self, I cannot shut up!

The urge to create and celebrate has taken over my mind body and soul.

A modesty of not inviting, but the madness that welcomes to join the dance of ecstasy.

There is richness in the poverty and there is richness in the richness.

There is no suffering in pain and pleasure, only bliss.

A bliss that has been channelised into what we call happening.

Happening is happening right now.

And there is an inherent urge to share the happening with you.

I wandered in all directions to find the words to express what I felt.

I found none.

Bits and pieces that I found were tainted with religion and lineage.

But I had to walk, on the edge of the double-sharpened blade to say, to create, to express.

I don’t have any reservations about the scripture and traditional literature. I enjoy reading from all the lineages.

But spirituality as a whole is channelised through such writings in our perception.

Whereas spirituality encompasses a much larger landscape than that.

Where You, I and We and the scriptures disappear.

The more and more you delve into the web of these systems, the more you fall into the trap of identification.

You keep on putting layers of identity on yourself, wandering from guru to guru, ashram to ashram.

Be mindful.

Lineage

The problem with the lineage is that the ascendance of a person to a stature is political, not competitive.

You can be shallow in your practice and slacker in your message and still stand tall on someone who is honest and deep in his own presence.

The very goal of lineage is to preserve the scriptures and ancient wisdom.

Its whole energy is exhausted to preserve the noise in the message, not the silence.

This system only produces the parrots who know the scripture by heart.

But it utterly fails to acknowledge a person who can understand the real meaning of those words in real life.

It cements and validates the common beliefs people have. Pushing them to their own bondages of beliefs and disbeliefs.

It barely looks beyond the systems and peeps outside the window of change.

On the other hand, an Atheist is as believer as a priest.

Both the Priest and the Atheist keep bragging about what god is and is not.

There is not much difference between them.

You are the change

I don’t write for you, I write for something in you that is constantly changing.

I can’t call you — you. Because the moment I call you — you; you are no longer you.

I don’t call myself I because there is no I.

The breath that you are taking right now is significant right now. It is no longer valid in some other moment in the past and future.

The words that you are reading are valid right now, they are no longer valid for the past and future.

It is to bring you into the present. It is to liberate the mind that is wandering in the past and future and connect it to the divine source within.

Spiritual writing wakes up people from sleep. To make every act sacred, without expectations.

It is to instil an inclusiveness that sprouts from the understanding that the consciousness is undivided.

It is to give you the courage to be compassionate towards a saint and a criminal, without holding any judgements and reservations.

Will you have consideration for the writings that flow beyond the tradition and speak to the modern mind?

Maturity

A wise man once told me; “If you don’t want to be controversial, quote someone else and say what you want to say”.

I have not taken the advice to heart. In fact, I have rejected it.

I bear responsibility for my own words and deeds. I would be naive not to do so, and there is no reason to do so.

There is nothing really to be said about Spirituality. There is nothing that can be taught about Enlightenment.

Only silence can speak.

Yet I write and speak, not because I want to do it, but because the madness within does not cease to exist until the dynamic expressions of the mind manifest on the screen.

I don’t think they happen.

I let it happen.
