LIVE ON YOUR OWN LIFE
What does success mean anyway?

Writing ‘well’ puts you in someone else’s shoes.
You might walk but stumble here and there as the shoe won’t fit.
“Well” often means ‘like’ something or ‘better’ than something.
I guess I will pass the race.
Many resort to AI these days to give their writing a facelift.
I don’t.
I like it raw, I like it direct.
I might sound like being careless with this matter, but I am not naive.
To know that we are imperfect is to know that we are humans.
Errors make us humans. Mistakes are what people sympathise with.
The imperfection is the occasion to connect with others.
Moreover, to do well is ambitious.
Ambition hones comparison.
If you are comparing yourself to anyone, you are being mean to yourself.
Who will play your role if you assume the role of another?
There is a purpose that you were born and the way you are born.
To annoy, to satisfy and to enjoy the musing of life.
As much as your skills and talent separate you from others, so do your mistakes and errors.
Our progress is directly proportionate to the problems you solve.
Solve a unique problem, your success will be unique too.
When I delved into the pursuit of writing daily on medium, I stumbled in many people\’s shoes.
But gradually I found a pair that fits me.
My.
I am not proclaiming a victory yet, but I am sure that I am satisfied with where things are going.
They might be going well or not, but I don’t care; As every step I take is a surprise.
I am selfish, and I want everyone whom I touch with these writings to walk their part.
My want is independence and freedom for and from everyone.
The world would be a better place if everyone got busy with themselves and stopped worrying about what others were doing.
This is also true for communities and nations.
Looking at the success of developed nations, underdeveloped countries are diminishing their culture and sacrificing their identities in foot forward to do “well”.
We have lost the meaning of what it means to be successful.
Ambition and contentment
When you are doing something with consistency, it is natural to look at numbers and data.
It is also possible that we start to compare our success with others. With the people who have inspired you to be on the journey.
But we often forget that contentment is more important than ambition.
The people you see who have found success are successful because they didn’t fall into the pitfall of borrowed aspiration.
If you want to learn something from the people who inspired you, learn how they found what they have found.
My master who taught me art always asked us to study the artist with his thinking process.
What was he thinking when he drew the line, what was the motivation to put a stroke on the paper?
Don’t learn to copy the art, learn to copy the process by which the artist has concluded on the paper.
This very process will lead to finding your process.
Moreover, it leads to finding who you are and you truly belong to yourself.
This sense of belonging brings contentment to our work and life.
Individuality and Success
Spirituality makes your creation personal, yet it also makes it public.
Your individuality is part of the collective consciousness.
You are the missing piece of the puzzle.
Be the missing piece that is required to complete the puzzle rather than being a piece that is already in place.
People will come to find you.
Individual means that which can not be divided any further.
Your core, you!
The world needs you to complete the grand scheme of existence.
It is incomplete without you.
If you deceive yourself to be someone else in pursuit of “doing well”, and mimic someone else’s success, you stop being in service to others.
Being yourself is the service to the world. Your service is rewarded with success.
Culture and Identity
I don’t believe in Identity.
I was born in a Hindu household, have a Japanese name and I learn from all the lineages and religions of the world.
It is not an identity crisis. It helps me shred my identity.
I might come from a culture of the East, but my sphere of influence is not limited to anything.
My early training might be in the art field, but my core learning is how to apply it to life.
We come from many places, but all the roads lead to one space within us.
We might have our differences due to physical appearances and mental conditioning, but at the core, we are connected to superconsciousness.
An energy that binds us together into collective consciousness.
We share the chaos of thoughts. We share the silence.
Together.
Culture might add an accent to how we identify ourselves as a drop in the ocean of subconsciousness.
Live on your own life
Life has disappointments to offer.
Life has surprises to offer.
Life is nothing else by serendipity.
A miracle that holds mystery in every moment.
Attend your life, not someone else\’s.
It will not only help you to know yourself better but also build a foundation for the central theme and message of your life.
It will be an empire that will be put down to rubble like a house of cards.
Many times, from time to time.
But the impermanent nature of life will help you to learn to live life on your own.
Accept it as it is.
Being true to yourself, without any external stimuli and validation.
You will start loving and approving of yourself.
A magnificent migration from wandering in the world aimlessly to self-discovery.
