EVERY IDEA IS UNDOABLE UNTIL IT’S DONE
Do Nothing

When you try to start something new you are met with a hell lot of resistance.
Might it be writing a new article or starting a new project..
These resistances come from external influences.
A price point of $500 is reasonable only if is placed against a price point of $800.
The comparison brings resistance.
Idealism brings resistance.
Borrowed aspirations bring resistance.
It is fine to look up to someone or something, but it is devastating trying to copy the success and walking on someone else\’s path.
Yet another thing that creates resistance is the need to be unique.
Such ideas are often induced by the business books.
Your idea should be unique. Something that has never been done before.
We as humans do quite identical things each day.
We eat, work, excrete and sleep.
All the celebrities and the people on the subway do the same.
Then what makes us unique?
These pieces of advice about being unique and original are paralysing.
In short, they say, do nothing. Because everything that you are trying to do has been done before.
Everything that has a name exists. Good or Bad.
The answer to this question might not be found in the literal meaning of the phrase “Do nothing”.
But it can unfold mysteries when approached from a spiritual perspective.
There is an inherent need for everyone to create. To create with the benevolent force of good.
A creation that does not come from the ego mind.
A creation comes when you do nothing and things happen on their own accord.
Every artist, writer and creator crave this phase of mind, where he is in the zone and forget the world, his surrounding and himself.
He craves originality in a world where everything is said and done already.
Where does this originality come from?
What is this originality anyway?
The very crux of originality does not lie in the fact that you create something unique.
Any attachment to such an outcome would be naive.
Said so, it is crucial to understand that you are a unique individual.
Everybody who is reading this article is a unique individual.
Hence, You might paint a world might have already seen and write on a topic which exists in the ancient scripture.
What makes the work original is you.
You don’t speak the tongue of old and you have something new to add to what already has been said.
That thing is you. People are here to connect with you.
The way you express yourself is the way people connect with you.
Your being is the value to this world.
You have an influence. Even if you decide to deny it.
You might go and live in the caves but still, the influence remains.
On the ecology you stay in.
Here is how you can embrace the process of creating that is true to you, and which you can call yours.
Embrace imperfection
The two sides of your face are not the same.
Two petals of a flower are not the same.
Nature is imperfect. You are nature. And that is your beauty.
Any idea that sees the light of “so-called” success has to start from the early imperfect crawls and tumbles on the paper.
Be part of the evolution of your creation.
I call this a birthing process. An idea is conceived and it goes through conditioning of impermanence and becomes something else.
It takes you on a journey within and without itself.
What you might see on the paper might be ugly at the beginning.
But it has the potential to grow into something beautiful.
Metamorphosis.
As the creator, you have given up the right to decide the fate of your creation.
It decides on its own if you allow it.
Self Discovery
To find the originality in your work you have to find yourself.
It is also true that in the quest to find originality, you may stumble upon the truth.
Universal truth.
Something the same for everyone. Silence and not even the silence.
When you disappear in the device called the evolution of your work, your mind dissolves into the cast openness within and without.
Nobody exists. No, you. No mind. Not even silence.
Divine.
This is the greatest gift mankind has to offer to himself and others.
Discovery of what already lies beneath the shallowness of mundane life.
The depth that transcends the mind to acknowledge formlessness in everything.
Every form that you will experience is unique to you.
No two people can see one thing and find the same meaning.
There will be a personal twist to it.
Personal, because he peeps inside to find the meaning rather than merely watching the work.
Courage
One step towards yourself is a leap towards the universe.
All you need is the courage to take the step.
To be different, to make mistakes and to be yourself.
To look at the thoughts and see impermanence in them. To acknowledge that you are no one and everyone.
To be one with the known by diving into the unknown.
Courage to jump off the cliff of mind and see what lies beyond.
An understanding that comes from having the courage to be with yourself, and be comfortable with what you are.
