YOU ARE THE CAUSE OF ILLUSION
Change begins with you

When I used to work with marginalised communities in India, I saw power and glamour play a vital role in shaping the collective consciousness of the community.
An aspirational image that we call mainstream, and a constant chase by the so-called weaklings to participate in the mainstream.
A battle not to be powerful, but to look powerful.
Many fragments of our society were eager to capitalise on this eccentric need to be powerful. Your need to feel powerful.
Organisations — Governmental, Non-Governmental and Criminal.
We as animals have evolved to be cautious of our surroundings and potential dangers.
We are cautious about our spending, our bodies, our clothes and the friends we make.
However, anything new is looked at and investigated with scepticism.
We have lost the tails in the course of evolution.
But there are tendencies that we are yet to get rid of.
At this juncture, we need more than evolution. As we are equipped with cognition.
A power to think upon what we are thinking.
But this power is dangerous if we use it for cautiousness. This power is a boon if used for consciousness.
We have so much to lose if we are cautious, and so much to transcend if we are conscious.
At this stage of our evolution, we need consciousness.
An awareness, not only towards the individual consciousness but also collective consciousness.
Our ancestors followed the leaders of the tribes, Prior generations followed the leaders of the nations, it is time to follow yourself now.
The power that is accumulated by the leaders of the world, and the big corporations, is the power bestowed by the people.
You were cautious when you selected the product off the shelf, and you were cautious about who you voted for the leader.
The cautiousness has made the powerful more powerful.
Because the Powerful is cautious about what makes people feel powerful.
But it is the inherent nature of the power to dissipate when it stops being challenged.
Hence most powerful nations in the world create external resistance to keep themself powerful.
Polarisation
We live in a highly polarised world.
Nations are polarised within, with caste and class.
Boundaries are polarised with geopolitical implications.
We are polarised because our minds are polarised with the duality.
Dualities are the stories that we tell ourselves to differentiate the elements of the unified world.
Dualities are the imaginaries boundaries that we see drawn between people, cities and nations.
Dualities are the illusory world we create, drawn from the conditioning of the mind.
But we have a chance, together. We have an opportunity to channel our evolution towards a more fruitful, harmonious and critically thinking society.
The change we might expect, can seem to be a change in the world.
But in reality, it begins when you see the change in yourself.
It is time to be conscious and not cautious.
We are building this world together and we can not hold reservations; to build a better world.
Nothing good, nothing bad
Belief is the most deceiving thing you can believe in.
A rich is poor for someone. Materialistic richness is not the only factor that translates to happiness. There are many other aspects to life.
Poor can be rich too. Beggars in India have apartments in Mumbai, whereas the working class either pays rent or EMI.
Don’t confuse the state of someone’s being with appearance.
Things always appear to be something else than what they are.
Reality in reality is always distorted.
The human eye is 576 megapixels, yet our vision differs from the vision of other animals we co-exist with.
If it differs, it can not be true.
It is an illusion.
Will it be wise to judge reality as right or wrong based on illusions?
Find the middle way.
When you see a situation in front of you, it is neither wrong nor right.
It is as it is, and you don’t know how it is.
Accept and acknowledge this to be free from the unending convolutions of constant judgements about the world.
Might it be sexual orientation, political leaning or religion..
Become the change
Change begins with you.
A person who is weak to change his own situation always sets out to change the world.
We need people to look for the change within rather than seeking it outward.
We are constantly changing, there is no past to resent about and no future to worry about.
The present is unfolding itself, constantly changing.
Moment to moment, from change to change.
The moment just passed, is not the same as the current.
Hence the present is an illusion too.
To become the change is to become empty of the thoughts of past, future and present.
If everyone recognises the impermanent nature of our existence, we will take ourselves less seriously.
We will be free from the societal pressures.
We will be more open.
Playful.
The real change this world needs is not collective, but individual.
If there is a chain reaction of individual change, the world will be a more happy and beautiful place.
You are powerful
Weak people don’t need to prove their power.
You are powerful. You are the physical manifestation of one in the million possibilities, that was conceived in a physical form and born into this world.
You were born with no identity.
The conditioning of the world diluted your mind to take on identity.
A King brought up in the jungle might act like an animal, but someday he has to remember who he is.
If he continues to stay in the jungle, he will have a constant need to prove himself.
Prove that he is an animal, just to fit in with other folks.
If he remembers that he is the King, he will own the jungle.
He can be anything and anyone he wants.
Because he is free.
Free to do things his own way, free to live life as it comes and free from the conditionings of Narcissism.
Free to be Free.
