My lifestyle has completely changed, and there is no going back

The word luxury immediately ignites an image of opulence and expensive things. I don’t have any reservations about a lavish lifestyle, in fact, I strongly believe everyone should aspire for the best human experience in life. And I say this in spite of being a very spiritually leaning person. I was literally forced to join a luxury circle recently. Well, I won’t be able to name the circle and the person who introduced me to the circle for privacy purposes. But I can surely state that the person who invited me to the luxury circle is a real-life Spy and the group comprises ambassadors, real estate moguls, Artists and Businessmen. You get the idea.

I am a writer and an artist, mostly spend my time writing, reading or making art and videos. The rest of the time I meditate. Now the question that might arise in your mind is, why was I invited to join this luxury group? When I became active in the group (online on WhatsApp and in offline events) Many mysteries came to light about the dazzling world of luxury; where the finest of experience and possessions abound, there’s a precious gem that often goes unnoticed — emotional intelligence. Unknowingly, I possess this jewel as my spy friend suggested.

On the contrary, knowing your own strengths, emotions, and weaknesses is your secret weapon. A luxury circle sucks in a person who shares stories from a deep human understanding. It is not about the price but value, it is not only about the materialistic things but also about the core that is authentic. This understanding of self, extended to the circle builds a genuine confidence that attracts admiration.

Stories that are addressed to the desires, needs, and aspirations of those who are around you. This feeling of acceptance can not be bought, it has to be sought and reciprocated by the members of the community. Now here I don’t intend to mean you have to suppress your own emotions. I simply mean that project and express your strong personal opinions and points from a higher perspective, which includes and takes into consideration the well-rounded approach towards any given matter. My every move is not scrutinised in the luxury circle, infant sometimes my madness and passion are well appreciated, but the ability to maintain emotional equilibrium is a mark of true sophistication. So that your perspective is not met with silence from the co-participant.

I can end this segment with just one line — do not be transactional. Opulent circles seek more than a transactional value in the connections. They invest physically, mentally and emotionally in relationships they want to nurture. For the sake of learning, for the sake of growing and for the sake of joy. When it comes to nurturing the relationship listening is the most effective way to do so.

The beauty of emotional intelligence is such, that you can create a network of supporters, advocates, and collaborators who can help you achieve your most ambitious goals. The network is the most valuable asset in the luxury circle.
