FULFIL YOUR MIND, LIKE A CHILD
Why living an extreme will help you find yourself?

I have seen both the polarities of the mind and physical existence.
Poverty — Richness, Depression — Euphoria, Duality — Non Duality.
I don’t believe, what I have seen. As it all lacked the essence of life.
I have discarded all of it not deliberately, but mindfully.
But to discard something you have to know it exists.
I am not pro-life or anti-life either.
But after many storms that bricked me to the verge of poverty and many cyclones that bestowed material wealth on me, I am sure that there is no contentment in either of them.
Until you find yourself in the middle of the chaos.
Experience every experience your life and existence have to offer.
Be aware and reflect on those experiences, if they give you a sense of contentment.
I have overdosed on drugs, and I have also tried a monastic life for a while.
From where I see it right now, both of them lacked contentment and satisfaction.
But I can’t speak for you, as your experience and spiritual path is going to be different than mine.
You won’t open your eyes to see what I see, but you might close your eyes to see what I see.
Pitch darkness, nothingness and a bliss arising from it.
You will see it if you are aware.
Many will take a long route, do several things, and try hundreds of books and gurus.
Until one day the burden of knowledge is unbearable and it is dropped.
Once the doing and knowing are dropped you are no longer trapped in the conditioning of the teachings and understanding.
Your mind starts discarding every bits and pieces of the external stimuli to become empty.
Naked.
When everything is dropped, the gates to the unknown are open; to never look back on your path.
You will laugh like a mad man, to realise that what you were searching for from temple to mosques, from monasteries to ashram was right there, where you are standing right now.
No matter how useless and meaningless the experiences of mundane life seem, they hold significance on the spiritual path.
Mind is like an energetic child, Restless for no particular reason. Once its needs are satisfied, it understands its stupidity and shuts up. Innocently.
Chose an extreme
Recognise the extremities of our existence.
We might prefer walking or moving in a Lamborghini.
You might like to take a cold shower or relax in a hot bathtub.
It depends from person to person and varies from situation to situation.
But when you are offered a chance to choose, choose an extreme.
Go to all the parties you were invited to in the month and have a blast, or spend a month in bed doing nothing, just lying down.
The trick is not to get busy with your mind. Only satisfy it.
You have to be aware that you are deliberately yet mindfully choosing something extreme.
The irony is such that, if you observe your mind with a sense of detachment, it will be constantly thinking about the extremity you have not chosen.
It will constantly need to have both of the extremes.
This is the nature of the mind. To swing from one extreme to another.
You might not experience the seemingly different experience physically, but your mind will experience both.
You won’t understand this until and unless you are aware of the mind.
Be watchful, Like a cat keeps an eye on the rat hole.
You will see that despite satisfying the mind, something is missing.
Regardless of gathering ideas about richness OR poverty, you will sense a missing sense of belonging towards yourself.
You have been constantly swayed by the swing of mind.
You are going nowhere and belong to neither of the sides of the swing.
Swing to Spontaneity
People are slaves to the repetitiveness and imitations.
We are slaves to the swing of the mind.
When you choose one extreme and stick to it, you jump off of the patterns of the mind.
You are bound to disengage from the swing when you understand the stupidity of it.
You acknowledge the fact that your desire, and aspirations; to be rich to be poor were borrowed from the ideals.
You were feeling good because you thought it felt good to live a certain way.
To liberate the mind and to be free from the pendulum of good and bad, is to live life, without an idea of living the life.
Direct.
You are freed from the patterns of the life created by the mind.
Free from the mind, everything becomes spontaneous.
The happiness then transcends into the bliss, and Sorrow into deep contemplation and consciousness. Satisfaction into Contentment.
Life finds a new horizon as you disappear with the mind.
What remains is experience, without an experiencer to interrupt the experience.
