Why is suffering blissful?

A JOURNEY WITHIN AND BEYOND

Unraveling the Paradoxes of Happiness, Pain, and Enlightenment

By Daigo

We are suffering the life. Until we discover that life is not happening to us, we are happening to life.

A mind that is not liberated is caught up in the drama of daily life.

A mind that is liberated uses the conflicts of the mundane life as fuel for consciousness.

Humans love contradictions. They hate it but they love it.

It is a human tendency to be drawn towards inner and outer conflicts.

Look at any TV show with a good rating and a massive audience. It is based on a strong conflict.

A Serial Killer of a serial killer working in the Homicide department — Dexter

A Chemistry Professor turned Drug Dealer — Breaking Bad

Humans trying to survive and exist in the zombie world — Walking Dead

We love the errors in our lives because they present an opportunity to work towards well-being.

We embrace and make mistakes so that we can come out as a hero from the problems of life.

We are drawn towards the conflict that propels the story of our life.

Birth, Job, Marriage and Children; to name a few.

Said so, we are also not so tolerant of the imperfections of life.

We need them to tell a story about why we don’t need them.

A formality and pretentiousness.

Moreover, the inclination towards the conflicts in life can provide an opportunity to transcend the conflicts, misery and suffering.

All you need is to be aware.

Aware of the conflicts and watch the show of our life with open eyes for the first time.

You will not only understand the allegory of such polarities but also understand the idiocy of it.

Most of the things in life we do, we do because someone else is doing.

Because it is deemed to be “Normal”. In society, culture and families.

We never question the status quo.

Humans have solved the biggest mysteries of the planet and heading towards exploring the extraterrestrial.

But we have utterly failed to understand the mysteries within.

The greatest journey one can take is a journey within, without travelling, without moving a bit.

Still in the unmoving centre of our core.

We are lost in external affairs without being conscious of them.

Affairs that are the tip of the iceberg of the consciousness within.

Mere reflection of what were are.

Suffering

Suffering comes from ignorance.

Once you understand the root cause of suffering is the need for conflict, you understand the polarities of the mind.

Once you understand the polarities of the mind, you detach from it.

The swing of mind then stops eventually, as you are no longer applying any force to the mind with reactions.

You will understand and acknowledge that happiness and sadness are two polarities of the same energy.

Pain.

When the swing stops, you transcend the pain of happiness and sadness.

You discharge the mind from its purpose. And without a purpose, it ceases to exist.

You face the unknown.

Direct.

Unknown that is everything and everywhere. Formless that can take any form.

Unknown which burns the suffering into cold fumes; inducing a bliss state.

Euphoria.

Challenge yourself

You won’t find something odd until and unless it is placed against something odd.

If you have been happy all your life, you won\’t understand sadness.

If you have been losing all your life, you won’t know what winning tastes like.

A stain on white shirts enhances the stains and the whiteness of the shirt.

The key is to do it without being judgemental and completely aware.

Try something today that you have never done before.

I started writing about fashion which is not my forte, I also started publishing and promoting my spiritual writing online which directly challenges the status quo of traditional spiritual writing.

Do something unexpected.

Surprise yourself and people who are close to you.

Create an opportunity for yourself to see yourself from a different angle and perspective.

“Read something that challenges you, not that which cements your current belief.”

Put yourself in an uncomfortable situation.

You will understand that what you are doing so far, is not the only thing and way to do a thing.

Consciously, being aware, stumble upon something unexpectedly.

Silence.

Serendipity of Enlightenment

The chaos is a counterpart of the silence.

What lies beyond is serendipity.

Serendipity, because it always happens when you least expect it.

You might have anticipated enlightenment all your life.

Now, just now — this is the time you might have thought.

But it will happen when you least expect it to happen.

As Enlightenment is forgetting about everything, even enlightenment.

There is no enlightenment after enlightenment.

Let it happen when it is supposed to happen.

Don’t wait for it, don’t expect it to happen.
