5 spiritual ways to create daily without fear of Hate and Criticism

HATERS HAVE A ROLE TO PLAY

Hatred has an impact on creativity, but you can avoid it..

By Daigo

The Internet is a complex world. Some people are open and famous.

Some people are faceless and yet have a lot of opinions to assert. Hiding behind the mask of anonymity.

Creative people have to face these faceless people.

Creativity suffers.

The sheer shallowness induced by the power of the internet in every hand is astonishing.

The Internet proves the herd mentality human possesses. One dives into the rage of hate and the other joins in.

Mostly because there is no accountability and answerability online.

There is no realisation that the hate inflicted online has consequences.

No matter how long you have been lingering in the space of creation and publishing your work, this part never gets used to.

But the haters have a role to play too. An important one. We will discuss it further in a point.

But reading hate comments, and rejections online has severe consequences on the creative process of an artist.

It is an epidemic which is now instrumented through organised actors.

They believe in something that does not sound like what you believe.

Most importantly, they believe everybody should believe in what they believe in.

I feel like wasting my time speaking of such people, but I am not writing this article for them.

It is for people who fear putting out their work due to such a nuisance.

Artists must find a way to express themselves and space for their expression.

These are the five ways spirituality has answers to this question.

Detachment

Detach from the outcome.

Nothing is permanent except change. And attachment to the absolute brings suffering.

Yes, everything is impermanent, but that doesn’t mean it does not hold any value.

The real value of your creation is realised when you are detached from your creation.

Let people love it, let people hate it, let people be the people.

Let your creation find its place in the world.

In a society that is made of fear and hope.

Let it communicate and reciprocate.

Let it have a life of its own.

celebration.

Release attachment to results and external validation, finding fulfilment in the act of creation itself rather than seeking approval from others.

Self Compassion

Don’t be so hard on yourself.

Be like the madman roaming in the square of the town.

He accepts the stones, he accepts the flowers.

The universe is mental.

No one can mess up with you if you support yourself and the universe within.

Treat yourself to the small wonders life has to offer.

Like a pastry or an ice cream.

Embrace self-love and self-acceptance, nurturing your creativity without judgment, and allowing your authentic expression to flow.

Create your community

Focus on what you want and you will see what you want to see.

While selective perception can blind you towards certain things it can also make you look the the things that are crucial for you at that very moment.

Look the the roses, not the thrones.

Select the people you want to connect with. Sow the seeds of beautiful flowers in the garden of your community.

Connect with people who are smarter than you and would guide you through the passage of life.

And make your journey a joyous experience.

Surround yourself with positive, like-minded individuals who appreciate your creativity, providing a safe space for expression and constructive feedback.

Mindfulness

Focus on the process. It is a meditative act.

When you create mindfully you disappear. You don’t come back you sense until your work is done.

It feels like someone, not you has created the work.

And when you revisit it, it still feels fresh and entertaining in a playful way.

Stay present in the moment, focusing on your creative process rather than worrying about external opinions or criticism.

Embrace vulnerability

You have to dive into an unexplored space. You have to shed a light in the dark corners of your mind to be creative.

When you embrace the unknown, you know what is not known yet.

The world is waiting for it, would needs this surprise.

Shock!

To wake up from their dreams of fantasies.

In foot forward to do this act of service to your patrons, you have to embrace the vulnerability.

Have the courage to shred the thoughts and beliefs about what is right and what is wrong.

Be courageous to try things never done before.

As promised earlier, this is the point where haters play a crucial role in your significant growth.

Role of the haters

Polarity.

Creative criticism might grow you as an artist, but haters will urge you to rise as a person.

Hate is the second pillar on which the relationship takes support, apart from love.

Where love prevails, it is also counterbalanced by the hate.

Remember how badly you felt about your lover when you broke up?

Where did the love go?

It became the hate.

Hate is the counterpart of Love.

This understanding instils hope for the haters to convert into lovers someday.

That would not be your goal in life, but certainly, a possibility that cannot be ignored.

No one is perfect. Nothing is perfect.

Have a heart big enough to accommodate your haters too.

Every hater is a potential lover who has yet to find the path.

The path of spirituality.

Do yourself a favour today, don’t forget to get yourself an ice cream : )
