Humans tend to find meaning in everything.

It is the quest of some people\’s life.

Although things that are surprising, interesting and entertaining add spice to life; finding meaning or attaching a purpose to it diminishes the very essence of joy.

Life is a very mysterious phenomenon.

No one knows why we are here.

But one thing is for sure our stay on this planet can be more meaningful if we refrain from searching for the meaning.

Sway.

What does finding meaning lead to anyway?

An answer is the seed of another question.

Answers are potential questions.

The quest might lead to personal growth, and add to the knowledge but can it really become the purpose of life itself?

It is time to be honest.

Life as such does not have any purpose.

A series of events happen and we call it life.

Everybody has a different story, full of vivid events.

Then where does the argument of doing something fruitful in life lie?

Where does the ambition stand?

The mind has a tendency to accumulate borrowed aspirations.

It provokes beings to be someone and have an identity.

An identity which a like a face mask.

Hiding the truth beneath from the paparazzo.

Face which we don’t want to face.

Truth.

You can live a fulfilling life without actively seeking meaning and purpose externally.

1) Embrace the present moment

Be mindful.

Fully present with whatever you are doing.

When you are present in the present moment without the constraints of the past and future, you become your actions.

The benevolent force takes over to use you as a medium.

To manifest the missing puzzle in existence.

You become part of the greater plan.

Something greater than you.

Something bigger than the words like meaning and purpose would not dare to reach.

Drop the worries about the future and forgive the past.

You belong to the present.

2) Savour Simple Pleasures

The one who can see can find beauty in unexpected places.

In simple things.

Gardening, reading, writing, sitting or anything.

There is no purpose to our occurrence.

But there is joy in enjoying the wonderful delights.

One might ask what is the purpose of enjoying if there is no purpose to life.

Why?

Why not?

To be mature is to be able to cultivate an appreciation for life’s small, delightful moments.

3) Cultivate Inner Peace

Meditate.

Meditation is a personal pursuit.

It can differ from person to person.

Some people might find inner peace sitting in zazen.

Some in deep breathing or yoga or tantra.

Ans some in mundane activities like walking.

The goal is to calm the mind and shun the mental chatter.

Cultivating a calm mind can lead to contentment by reducing anxiety and stress.

4) Practice Acceptance

Things around you and your life are not the way you want it.

It is the way it is.

Accept it!

It includes you and others.

Accept life as it unfolds in front of you without any judgment.

Everything is there, where it should be.

Trust and accept.

5) Connect with Others

Have you ever wondered why you were placed with the people you are placed with?

Your friends, family and colleagues?

There is no rational answer to this question.

No purpose.

But there is an opportunity to find joy in the relationships.

Keep aside the expectations.

Connect genuinely, by being concerned about little things in the life of your loved one.

Engaging and positive interaction fosters a meaningful relationship with support and a sense of belonging.

6) Simplify Your Life

Not all of the day in life should be about something magnificent.

Once in a while, we should learn to celebrate simplicity.

This process is best started with the physical appearance of your surroundings.

The spatial value plays a crucial role in how you live your life.

A room full of stuff and mess reflects your inner being.

Reverse engineer.

Declutter your room.

Simplify your space simplify your life.

7)Gratitude

It’s free to say Thank you.

It makes the person feel good and also does something beautiful to you.

It releases anandamide in the brain.

A reward system that is present in all human beings.

Be thankful for everything in life.

All the people and all the experiences.

Keeping a gratitude journal or simply taking a moment each day to reflect on what you are thankful for can enhance your overall sense of contentment.
